Demolition of the South Tower of Lund Cathedral. During the restauration by Helgo Zettervall in 1860-1880, the medieval towers were demolished and replaced by new towers in old style. The Romanesque cathedral, one of the oldest churches in Scandinavia, was inaugurated in 1145. Rivning av det södra tornet till Lunds domkyrka. Under Helgo Zettervalls restaurering 1860-1880 revs de medeltida tornen och ersattes av nya i gammal stil. Den romanska domkyrkan, som är en av Skandinaviens äldsta kyrkor, invigdes 1145.
